Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG R230

The Mercedes-Benz Sl 55 AMG was the flagship version of the pre-facelift R230 generation. The M113 5,5 liter engine is a V8 equipped with Root's supercharger generating nearly 500 horsepower. Thanks to the Active Body Control suspension the car can minimailse the body roll during dynamic driving. The R230 generation is the first SL generation of SL equipped with a solid, aluminium roof that can transform the car from a convertible to a coupe with a press of a button.
