Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC 5.0

The Mercedes SLC 5.0 is the most sought-after version of this iconic coupe, with only 2,769 units produced. In September 1977, Mercedes-Benz launched the 450 SLC 5.0, boasting 240 horsepower, a front splitter, and a rear spoiler on the boot lid. The bonnet, boot lid, and bumper reinforcements were crafted from aluminium. This car has a rich rally history. The SLC 5.0 (later known as the SLC 500) was the vehicle of choice for Mercedes-Benz factory teams in long-distance rallies, securing overall titles in both South America and Africa. The 450 SLC 5.0 became the first car with a V8 engine and an automatic transmission to win a World Rally Championship event. 

The car presented by Legends has undergone a complete restoration at our facility. Every aspect of its bodywork and mechanics is as good as new.
