Mercedes-Benz 560SL (R107)

After the SL models of the 1950’s and the “Pagoda”, the R107 sports was the third generation of this vehicle family. The 107 series turned out to be a great success as the roadsters remained in production for over 18 years.

The cars of the 107 series expressed the best features of the SL family in a particularly stylish way. The open-top two-seater gave the impression of a strong, self-confident and imposing car.

The most spectacular new development was the 560 SL engine of 230 hp, which was reserved for the export markets of the USA, Australia and Japan. Its sophisticated emissions emission control system enabled the SL to comply with the particularly strict emission limits of the US market.

This car was intended for the American market, but it went to Japan. During its time in the Land of the Rising Sun, the car was equipped with bumpers and headlights compliant with the European specification. Finally, we have received an interesting combination of the 560 version with a European look. The car in the Midnight Blue colour configuration and Palomino 274 interior design looks very good and will provide a lot of fun to those, who like driving with a breeze in their hair.
