Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG (R230)

The Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG was the flagship version of the pre-facelift R230 generation. The M113 5.5-litre engine is a V8 equipped with a Roots supercharger, generating nearly 500 horsepower. Thanks to the Active Body Control suspension, the car can minimise body roll during dynamic driving. The R230 generation is the first SL generation equipped with a solid aluminium roof that can transform the car from a convertible to a coupe with the press of a button.
