Mercedes-Benz SL 500 (R129)

The R129 it's the forth generation of unique line of Mercedes-Benz cars called SL. The car had it's premiere in the year 1989 during the Geneva Motor Show. One year later, the car won the international "Car Design Award".

Many classic car enthusiast appriciate the R129 for it's timeless, Bruno Sacco design. In the case of SL 500, the V8 M119 engine gives the driver pleasure with not only it's acceleration, but also with it's noise. Because of a great chassin combined with a reliable powertrain, the R129 SL 500 became a cult-classic.
