Mercedes-Benz E500 (W124)

In the mid 1980s, Mercedes-Benz celbrated various successes, while Porsche went through a toughter, financial period. The result of the joint colaboration between those two brands was the 500 E - a sports saloon, that became a real hit among the petrolhead. The W124 gained a sporty character with the enlarged wheel arches. The car's production took place at Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen.

The car was hand build, and it took 18 days to build a single unit. In this period o time, the car's bodies were transported to the Sindelfigen paint shop, and then they came back for assembly to Porsche. The Mercedes-Benz 500 E made it's debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, 1990. It became the top of the line 124 model, equiped with a mighty, 5 liter, 326 horsepower engine.

The car was imported from Japan. It had only one owner in Poland, where it is currently registered. A set of manuals and a japanese export certificate with the last recorded mileage of 79 527 km remaigned with the car.
