Mercedes-Benz 560SL (R107)

The R107 is the third generation SL, which was produced for over 18 years and has become a favourite car of a few generations. In this case the development of the SL (Sport Leicht) went one step further. The car is elegant and sporty, strong and confident to drive. The 107 is a classic roadster that embodies the brand's values. Since the 1950s, the SL models of the Mercedes-Benz brand have been representing a combination of innovation, respect for tradition and high standards. Their features included also sportiness, comfort and elegance. Therefore, the Mercedes-Benz 560SL R107 is not only fast, but also as comfortable as a real grand tourer. Technically, the 107 SL models also set new standards, especially with their comprehensive, holistic safety concept. In 1986, the most spectacular new version was the 560 SL.

Despite its displacement, the 5.6-litre engine complied with strict U.S. emission limits. "Road & Track" magazine tested the car and measured its top speed as 208 km/h with the acceleration from 0 to 160 km/h in 19.6 seconds. These values in the United States represented a significant step forward for the European brand and this step has been clearly appreciated by the market.

Our Mercedes-Benz 560SL W107 was imported from California in 2018. Beautiful paint configuration: Signal Red (568) with Anthracit Black leather upholstery is a real eye-catcher. This convertible has undergone body and paint renovation: it was dismantled and completely painted anew in colours, according to the VIN number, it also has wooden interior trim, leather upholstery and original renovated rims.

All elements of the suspension, braking system, cooling and air conditioning that required intervention have been replaced or regenerated. Its black soft top is in very good condition.

It is possible to fully convert the car (by replacing lamps and bumpers) into the European version.
