Mercedes-Benz 560 SL (R107)

The Mercedes-Benz R 107 is one of the most beloved roadsters, bought and used not only by the Mercedes-Benz fans. Mercedes opened new chapter of the fascinating SL line of cars in the year 1971. It was the 350 SL - first V8 SL, and the first model in the series that had the R designation standing for "Roadster". The new, open, two seater project with it's softtop covered and removable hardtop. The Mercedes in this configuration was not anly sporty, but also, luxurious vechicle.

The R107 is a worthy complement to the great SL family. This model was produced from 1971 to 1989. During this time, the car was regularly modernised, thanks to the facelifts and the inclusion of the new engines to the range.

The most spectaclular version was teh 560 SL with the 230 HP engine, built for the USA, Australia and Japan.

This example is a very interesting project that can make you stand out from the crowd. Looks-wise, the car was equipped with new Lorinser body-kit and wheels, and it was converted to the European specs. New car's interior and the softtop fabric ads more value to the project. The engine was compleatly rebuild, with the KE-Jetronic injection replaced with the electronic one.
