Nicknamed "Pagoda" the W113 was designed to be a convertable from the ground up. It is a comfortable, two seater touring car that replaced the 190 SL (W121 B2) and the 300 SL roadster (W198). The Pagoda's chassign was taken from the Mercedes-Benz 220 SE and adjusted to the sportscar character of the SL. It's suspention was stiff and comfortable for the sportscars of it's time. The body is characterised by pure, straight lines and the front with a center mounted Mercedes star on the chrome grill. The optional hardtop is a reminiscent of asian temples, and so, the Pagoda nickname was formed.
Mercedes-Benz 280 SL with manual gearbox restored nuts and bolts when it comes to mechanics, bodywork and engeenering by our expert's team.
