The 190SL W121 was revaled in 1954 together with the 300Sl Gullwing, at the international motorsport exibition in New York. The 190SL has the same headlights and simmilar styling to it's famous brother. The 190 SL was enginered on the basis of the Mercedes W120 and was designed as a roadster from the ground up. It's body was designed by Karl Wilfert and Walter Häcker, who were inspired by the 300 SL. The 190 SL is a great complementary to the Mercedes-Benz portfolio of cars. Two-seater convertible with the softtop and hardtop is designed to be a grand tourer. The combination of it's sproty character and comfort became the trademark of all the SL's to come.
